Gastown - Water Street & Cambie

I took this picture one morning during a Gastown walk for a Photo assignment, and there was this cheerful guy just strumming his guitar away like it was the only thing that mattered to him - as if in that one moment, there really wasn't anything else more time-sensitive, more urgent than to make music. I'll always remember it because he was so carefree and happy. I think we need to enjoy more moments like this.

Songs currently on iTunes repeat:
I'm Not Calling You A Liar - Florence + the Machine
Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop - Landon Pigg
Bones - Swear and Shake
And You Give - Matthew Barber
Yours to Keep - Teddy Bears
Firework cover - Kina Grannis
Red Cape - Priscilla Ahn

    nice photo! I love how you made it black and white, feels more nostalgic that way =D~

    you have a lot of photos from gastown, do you live down there? I have a classmate that lives in the new, woodsworth(?) building, so lucky!

    Hi! I love your blog. It's full of N.I.C.E photographs!
    May I know what camera do you use?(:

    Love this B/W shot. I like how you make it a candid pic and turn it into B/W make it stronger image(;

    hey guys! the picture is actually from a film camera that ONLY processes black & white, which i think makes it more special :) i developed the pic in the darkroom after developing the negatives too (used a Pentax SLR for the picture taking)
