Some rough sketches (really rough!) of the things I'd like to make for myself for the upcoming Fall season... which (can you believe it?) starts next month. Eep! I'll be posting the garments as I work on them, but it's starting to get really busy for me with working the rest of summer, spending time with friends before they move away (one of my best friends is moving to Halifax!!), and mentally preparing for university. But it's all anxieties that some sketching and a great cup of tea won't soothe.

I am a big believer in tea - can't live without it. Looking forward to see how you make those drawings come to life. I'm completely hopeless when it comes to sewing.
I know they're rough sketches, but everything already looks like it will be amazing, especially that skirt! Everything looks like it's right up my alley. Hope your weekend has started off well lovely :)

These sketches look amazing I can't wait to see how they turn out~! =D and it's so true there's nothing a cup of tea won't solve! hahaha 4 years isn't too long it felt so fast! =D But I guess it's a bit of a shocker since most people tend to do "speed dating" when their younger.
I love your drawings, I'm sure they will look amazing! And the cup of tea is super cute :)

Hey Rosa - don't let the 1st year jitters get the best of you! There are so many resources to ease that during the first week of classes. And to answer your comment on this (http://thevancouvercliche.blogspot.com/2011/08/learnin-knowledge-cultivation.html?showComment=1313976624965#c8961316525743897452) post, I'm actually entering my 4th year at SFU doing a major in Communications and a minor in Fine & Performing Arts. Most of the business classes are at Burnaby campus for Fine Arts classes at Woodwards always make great electives. Also since you're into photography, you might enjoy taking some SIAT classes at the Surrey campus.
For activities, the business program is one of the most organized with a large frosh program and clubs for every focus on BBA. There is also a campus wide 'Week of Welcome' then is half-carnival/half-information & service fair.
Good luck with your first semester!
