Mandula

Recently, I was introduced to the local designer, Hajnalka Mandula, when I stumbled across her store in Vancouver. Hanging like a cloud and beautifully lit in the store, a white summer dress was what caught my attention first. And the more I learned about Mandula, the more I loved! Hajnalka stays true to her vision of sustainable, edgy fashion by using natural fibers and recycled fabrics (mostly jersey, silk, cotton, linen, recycled cashmere, and recycled leather). The accessories chosen for display in the store are all sourced by the designer herself - often true vintage finds in places all over Europe.

Visit her at www.mandula.com, or better yet - visit her in store at 1898 Main Street in Vancouver.

This is EDGY! Her style reminds me of a horse back riding girl gone bad! How's life so far? It's getting a bit sunnier in vancity and I hope it stays this way!

Main always has the coolest stores! I love walking along there on sunny days. Damn, that girl's legs in the first photo look really plastic :/
