Pics from my Senior Prom. My prom inspiration was summed up in three words: mauve, grecian, and ballerina. I'm thrilled because in the end, I managed to finish my dress and everything else came together (except I didn't get to play with fabric flowers like I wanted to due to a time restraint)! Plus, I didn't end up flying to prom with my date like we thought we would... but I didn't mind too much ;)
Prom was called "Une nuit a Paris" and everything was themed with it.
Me and my handsome prom date (aka my best future rockstar friend!)
My best friend bought a pair of $20 black pumps & some crazy hardware glue & sparkled her own shoes! Anybody feel like the urge to grab a Toto and sigh 'there's no place like home' ? Way to go, Claudia!
Boyfriend & me :)
Delicious Red Velvet lollipop cupcake! More please!!!
And a few days before prom...
The last and final sketch before committed garment construction.
The above pics were taken 2 days before prom! Eep! I changed the skirt to 3 layers instead of 2 and in that process, eliminated the need for a fitted bodysuit underneath.
All in all, I wouldn't have changed anything about it.

Your dress turned out gorgeously!!! I love the colour you chose and the shades that went with it! As for your friends shoes, thats awesome she decoed it out herself! I also went to QE park for my grad too! Seems like it's standard protocol hahaha but I notice a LOT less puffy Cinderella dresses! During my "days" those were still in and yes I did wear one too hahahahaha I felt like a princess though so I didn't regret it one bit but I wish I rented instead of buying it, now it's just sitting there being bored =( It's also awesome that your prom had a theme, it just makes things that much more fun!
P.s you and your bf are so cute!
sooo pretty :)

one word - GORGEOUS!
That's such a cute gown, had you not shown the pictures of the sketches and the sewing I wouldn't have known...it looks so professional. Great work. I also make my clothes(I'm not the best couturier though) - how long did it take for you to learn?
PS: I also love the eiffel tower cake and your friend's wizard of oz shoes
